PERFECTION IS NOT AN ACT, BUT AN ATTITUDE

The Minimal Invasive Surgery (MIS) has brought multiple advantages for the patients, hospitals, insurrances and the national economy as well.

The learning curve of the minimal invasive techniques is much longer and more difficult as hoped or expected. The basic predisposition for a highly qualified surgical education is a structured learning process, proffessional transfer of knowledge and aid of audiovisual media. The troublesome building-up skills requires ongoing repetitive practical training.

The best, but the least suitable and appropriate object would be the patient. The surgical training in animals is often inadequat and ethically questionable. One safe alternative is the employment of surgical simulators. Simulated environment enables thanks to increasing computing power  training and learning very close to reality and saves human and financial resources.
